About the project

This portrait was developed around a bold color reference, transforming a fairly neutral beach scene into a much more vivid editorial image.

The retouching focused on rebuilding the overall palette through turquoise water, cyan and pink tones in the sky, warmer skin and stronger color separation while keeping the lighting and subject believable.
