About the project

Velvet Noir is a fashion editorial built around soft textures, muted color and intimate portraiture. The series was published in HOLLYWAY Magazine and combines beauty-focused close-ups with more sculptural, full-body imagery.

The retouching focused on preserving natural skin texture, subtle tonal transitions and the tactile quality of the images while keeping the color and finish consistent across the complete editorial.
